UiTOE
The University of Tromsoe in Norway offers studies within the fields of Medicine, Pharmacy, Psychology, Law, Fisheries, Science and Mathematics, Social Sciences and the Humanities.
UiTOE also has strategic fields of research in Arctic Research, Marine Research, Northern Lights and Space Research; Social Medicine Research; Research on Multi-Cultural and Multi-Language Societies and research on Sami Culture.
UiTOE is is one of the four Norwegian HPC centres providing HPC resources and user support for the national research infrastructure. Research into distributed and parallel systems has been going on since 1987. Presently the University has a wide range of ongoing projects on distributed systems, Grid and multi-clusters.
