Chonnam–Kangnung–Sejong–Collaboration
The main objective of the Chonnam–Kangnung–Sejong–Collaboration project (CKSC) is to carry out research in the area of
high energy heavy-ion and pp physics related to the ALICE experiment at
CERN, and bioinformatics with common interests in utilising GRID
technologies.
EGEE, as a major GRID Infrastructure project concerned
with the development, implementation and operation of GRID technologies,
has dissemination plans to expand the existing user base and to attract
new users and new applications to the GRID.
In the early stages, EGEE will focus on the community needs of high energy physics applications
and bio-medical applications which have been identified as the pilot applications.
CKSC will collaborate with EGEE for their HEP and bioinformatics research.
