The EGEE project officially ended on the 31 March 2006
EGEE II started on 1 April 2006 and the new EGEE website can be found at:

Applications
Since its inititation in April 2004, the EGEE project has already been involved in enabling a number of data intensive scientific operations.
The two main pilot applications to date have been the High Energy Physics and Biomedical research areas, which have proved a great success. For the next stage of the project, however, EGEE is committed to providing an infrastructure for multiple applications from as many disciplines as possible.
Other potential applications could be fields such as Geophysics, Earth Observation, Astrophysics and Computational Chemistry, indeed, some of these applications are already using the Grid to process large volumes of data.
For the biomedical applications group, there is a web page describing applications currently developed on the EGEE infrastructure.
The last EGAAP meeting to advise on application deployment took place at the Second EGEE Conference in November.
