First Concertation Meeting on eInfrastructures

To support the effort of consolidating a common approach by the largest possible number of European Grid Projects to vital issues like the Authentication, Authorisation and Accounting, business and work models and applications, the EGEE project in collaboration with the other INFSO RI projects, namely DEISA, SEE-GRID and GEANT2, hosted a Concertation event on the first and second days of the project's working conference, EGEE-02.
One of the main objectives of the pan-project meeting was the investigation of different ways that the RI-eInfrastructures can provide a research infrastructure service to the research projects.
The dates for this multi-project event were on 22 and 23 November. The Concertation event took place as part of the Open Day of the European Leadership Grids and in e-Science event, one of the seven non-governmental events planned by the Dutch European presidency.
The EGEE, DEISA, SEE-GRID and Diligent conferences also took place under the umbrella of this event.
